Suicide: Suicide: you are important and we want to help! Sometimes life threatens us beyond what we can stand. There is an alternative, try tell Jesus how you feel right now and if you want to talk we would really love to help. Jesus died on a Roman cross 2000 years ago and that death is the one that paid for all the mess in your life before God. The Bible says in Acts 2:24 that death itself was not strong enough to hold him, and you know, with Jesus in your life actually death cannot hold you. You might like to use this simple prayer:- Jesus, frankly I've had enough, my whole life is a mess and I see no way out of this situation, but you said, "I am the way, the truth and the life" and Jesus, I need you to be my way, my truth and my life right now, Lord I really need you now, right now, come and touch me here, forgive me for my sin and Lord make a way for me. Amen

Reasons not to commit suicide:

Because there is hope for you even if it doesn’t seem like it. Jesus cares for you and died for you to prove his love for you. Through believing in the death of Jesus you can receive forgiveness for your sins, a new start and the power to live a new life.

Because it is a lie that death will free you from all your problems and give you the peace you are looking for. After death comes judgement before the living God. No one will escape this and only those that have their sins forgiven by the blood of Jesus will get eternal life in heaven. All the others will be condemned: eternity in hell.

Because one of the ten commandments is: do not kill. No one has the right to take their own life, this only belongs to God.

Because Jesus can free you from the temptation to commit suicide. Right now if you call out to him in desperation he will help you beat the temptation. This is what the Bible says: You are tempted in the same way that everyone else is tempted. But God can be trusted not to let you be tempted too much, and he will show you how to escape from your temptations. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Because God can transform your life completely giving you everything that you need to deal with your situation.

Because other people will suffer a lot because of your death: from guilt, messed up minds, loneliness and ‘missing’ pain.

Because you are listening to the devil who says it would be better if you die, but he is a liar. From the beginning all he wants is to kill, steal and destroy lives.


Some reasons for suicidal feelings:

Broken relationships (see relationships 1), self-hate (see image), loneliness, involvement in the occult (see ouija), addiction to music, drugs or sex (see drugs and drink and sex), emptiness, guilt (see the prodigal son and woman caught in adultery stories), fear and attention seeking (if suicide tempts you, pick your reason and get in touch).
