Woman caught in adultery: the religious leaders at the time of Jesus thought they were good and every one else was a sinner. They brought a woman to Jesus who they had caught in bed with some one who was not her husband. The punishment for adultery at that time was stoning to death and so they pointed this out to Jesus and asked him what he thought. Jesus told them that the person who had never sinned should throw the first stone. He then looked down and started writing on the ground. One by one the accusers left the place without one stone being thrown at her. When Jesus looked up he asked where the accusers were and if any one had condemned her by throwing a stone. When she said they hadnt Jesus then said: Neither do I, go and sin no more.

Prodigal son: There was a rich man who had two sons. One of them, Jake, decided to leave home early and see the world. Jake asked his dad for his bit of the inheritance (the money you get when someone dies) which was basically like wishing his dad was dead. He went off to a far place and wasted this money on gambling, getting high and prostitutes. Jake was Mr. Popular for quite a while. After a while his money ran out and he saw himself having to beg for his cravings. Soon his many friends left him. With no where to turn he ended us feeding pigs just to survive. He ended up feeling so hungry with so little money left over after what was spent on his habits that he wanted to eat what the pigs were eating. Soon he realised this was wrong, even his dads servants had a better life than his. Jake decided to go back home and beg to become a servant; he couldnt go back to the life of before coz of what hed done to his family. But the question was whether his dad would accept him as his servant. He decided to go back. To Jakes amazement while he was just in sight of his home he saw someone running towards him. It was his dad who then threw his arms around him. Jake said Ive come to be your servant but his dad said no way, you are and always be my son, lets have a welcome back party.
